The Red Balloon!

Oh! the most pleasurable things in life can be as simple as a red balloon from Trader Joes!

Los Angeles Kings!

Los Angeles is very serious about their hockey team...The KINGS! Daniel and I have the pleasure of going to a couple games a year, thanks to our dear friend Alan! We sit fairly close to the ice and enjoy the fast pace of the game! On Wednesday night we were disappointed as they lost to the Sharks! Also I learned a very important lesson! No matter how much of a California girl I might be, it is far to cold at the game to wear flip flops!

A Sunday Hike!

After a day of rain on Saturday, Sunday was a glorious day! We took the two dogs, Jaelynn and ourselves up into the hills for a wonderful and much needed hike!

Any Day Now!

Jaelynn has been standing on her own for nearly two months now with a few steps here and there! But after a few falls on our hardwood floors she continues to crawl! Amma thought this cool contraption would help encourage those little feet to start walking! She zooms all over the house, and thinks she is hot stuff!!

Tis the Season...

For PEPPERMINT everything!!! We have enjoyed the splendor of peppermint ice cream (like Grandpa Scott) I can not get enough of Starbucks peppermint frappacinos and Jaelynn devours peppermint candycanes everytime somebody gives her one! Usually it ends in quite a sticky mess, but she loves every moment! And it's nothing soap and water can not take care of! Hope you are all enjoying everything peppermint this season as well!

All Dressed Up!

Last year at this time we were anxiously awaiting the arrival of our baby girl! Now we can hardly believe she is turning one!!! I love this picture of her all dressed up in her fancy Christmas dress!

Too Cute!

Black Friday!

Yes! Sally, Mom, Dad and I ventured out far too early in the morning to go shopping on Friday morning! The crowds ARE horrible, but you can NOT BEAT the sales! We all met at Joanns fabric Store and bought a cart load of flannels, which were an amazing, unbeatable price! Dad was wonderful...we made him stand in the cutting line and we filled the cart! He did sneak off for a while! Most men (including my Dad) can only stand fabric stores for so long!

How To Pray!

Drinking coffee, eating grapes and reading the Bible! Daniel was reading to Janie and Jacob about how we can pray to God! It is amazing to see even the youngest child wanting to know God!

Playing With The Puppets!

From the living room we all heard an excited laughter coming from little Ms Janie! As we peered over the wall into the den we saw Daniel Cadby putting on quite the puppet show which made us all giggle!

The Merry Turkey Carver!

Thanksgiving was so much fun to host this year in our home!!! With all the help of our Moms and Sisters I hardly was left with much cooking to do! My largest resposibility was the turkey! And Dan took quite a bit of pride in carving it! (in my apron)

Our Newest Addition!

Upon my littlest sisters request, here is the newest addition to our ever growing family! I found out I was pregnant right before we left for Virginia! Not thinking I was very far along I was expecting a June baby until last week when the doctor let us know that I was already 12 weeks along and due May 19th! I can't tell you how excited we are! It is so amazing to see this little miracles beating heart, kicking legs and arms! Oh! There is no doubt that Gods creation is absolutely breathtaking and beautiful!

Handmade chaps by Daniel! There was a time when he wore them everyday and rode many horses! He pulled out these chaps, his spurs and boots and tried them all one Saturday! I think part of him misses the horse trainer he use to be!

Crawling!

She started crawling towards the middle of August and there is NO stopping her! Always on the go! She is standing up all by herself now also, getting ready to take those first steps!
