Update!

Sorry that I have not posted recently, but our lives have been nothing but thrilling since Olivia was born a month ago! Where should I begin?

Let me begin with the most exciting news! Daniel has started his own millwork and cabinetry company along with Zac, his new business partner. The company is called Millworks By Design! I have never seen Dan so excited about his work! Starting this company meant that we had to say goodbye to the company he has been working for for the past three years! The split was not easy and came with many trying moments. Because our home was part of his compensation plan, we had to move! (In a week none the less!) At first we were not sure where we were going to move to, but the Lord has yet to fail us and has provided a beautiful home for us. We are living in a house that will be torn down in six months, but until then, it is our home until we are able to find something more permanent! We are glad that life has slowed down a little bit now and we can catch our breath! Thank you for all of you who have been praying for us during this difficult and exciting time!

As soon as I get a chance I will post pictures!

Beautiful Day At The Beach!

That is cold!
Sand everywhere!
Our beach baby!
Catch Titus!
Run Daddy!

Catch Titus!
One happy lab!
Where is the ball Titus?
What happened to your shirt Jaelynn?

In attempt to make the days seem less long for me, Daniel decided there would be nothing better than a trip to the beach! He was right! There is nothing I love more than feeling the sand between my toes and watching the waves crash on the shore!

I thought May 19th would never come! And now here it is and still no baby! Well, I suppose the day is not over! I am learning a great lesson in patience! We will keep you all updated!

Redecorating!

Daniel and I decided it was time to give our bedroom a face lift. We began the process with painting our walls an energizing orange! Max and Daniel had to put three coats of paint on to cover the chocolate color that was on the walls previously! I'll keep you posted as the room is closer to completion! There is quite a bit to be done still, but I love the process! Thank you Max and Daniel for all of your hard work!

Cinco De Mayo

This last weekend we enjoyed a beautiful weekend in San Diego! It was wonderful to get away for a couple of days! My cousin Angela, her husband and daughter were visiting from New York and we were excited to catch up with them on Sunday! On Saturday though, we went to Old Town San Diego to enjoy the festivities of Cinco De Mayo. There was beautiful music, great food and a street fair! You would never guess who always has the camera!

Strange Cat!

How many cats do you know that like water!? I waited for a howling, screeching kitten when Rellik decided to jump in the bath with Jaelynn just a few days ago! Instead of the reaction I expected, he enjoyed the warm water and bubbles as if he had been taking baths his whole life! Jaelynn was overjoyed to have "meow" in the tub with her!

Oh What Fun!

There is nothing that Jaelynn loves more then helping Daddy when he has to move material on the forklift! I love it too! It gives me a half hour to finish up supper!

Daddy's and Thier Daughters

Big Hug and Kiss for Daddy
Helping Daddy outside!

Enjoying Italian dressing on carrots! Yummy!

So often I am asked what Daniel does for work, and most of the time people leave more confused than before they asked! Trying to explain "architectural millwork" is not an easy task! These pictures are of a project recently completed in Hidden Hills, CA. Daniel designed all of the rooms and now has a fairly large size crew in the field making his concepts come to life! All of the paneling and woodwork you see is exactly what Daniel does for work!

Why So Serious Boys?

Any guesses as to what they might have been discussing?

Hello Spring!

My Mom has cultivated a love for gardening in my heart just this last couple of years, as she has spent many long hours with me in my garden! For the first time I am reading gardening magazines and enjoying them through and through! Here are just a few pictures of my spring garden! Next I hope to plant a vegetable garden in the back yard!

Beautiful Sunday Afternoon

We enjoyed the company of the Parish Family this last weekend! After a full day of rain on Friday, we decided on Sunday to take a walk to a local park! We all enjoyed being outside and playing with the children on the swings, slides and more!
